The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), in association with Comedy Central, announced today the addition of more than 60 shows including Comics to Watch, the New York's Funniest Stand-Up competition finals, and events featuring Jim Gaffigan, Bob Odendkirk, Pete Holmes and Sommore. In addition NYCF in partnership with The Paley Center for Media announced three new dynamic panel discussions with the creative teams behind the hit shows "Late Show with David Letterman," "Inside Amy Schumer" and "Broad City;" The 11th annual festival runs from November 5 - 9 at more than 20 venues throughout New York City.

CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman," winner of six Emmy Awards for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy series, remains one of television's premier showcases of absurdist humor, dry self-parody, and ripped-from-the-headlines comedy. As the show prepares to enter its final year on the air, this panel gathers the warped minds behind Late Show's comedy to discuss the show's approach to generating ideas, writing comedy and the process of producing material for a nightly program. The panel will include Head Writer Matt Roberts, Chris Belair, Alex Buly, Lee Ellenberg, R.J. Fried, Jill Goodwin, Joe Grossman, Matt Kirsch, Mike Leech, Paul Masella, Bill Scheft, Zach Smilovitz, Jeremy Weiner and Steve Young. AN EVENING WITH THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN WRITERS will take place on Friday, November 7th at 6:00PM.

Comedy Central's innovative, irreverent program, INSIDE AMY SCHUMER, equal parts provocative and gut-busting hilarity, and has confirmed creator and star Amy Schumer's place among the top ranks of contemporary comedy and garnered Emmy and Critics Choice Award nominations. Combining sketches, stand-up and interview segments, Schumer confronts the challenges and contradictions of contemporary womanhood with slashing wit and revolutionary zeal. The panel will include Amy Schumer, Dan Powell, Kim Caramele, Jessi Klein, Kurt Metzger, Kyle Dunnigan, Jeremy Beiler, Neal Casey and Christine Nangle, and will be moderated by Jason Zinoman of The New York Times. CLOWN PANTIES AND OTHER UNPLEASANT TRUTHS: AN EVENING WITH INSIDE AMY SCHUMER will take place on Saturday, November 8th at 4:00PM.

From Executive Producer Amy Poehler, Comedy Central's "Broad City" paints a hilariously frank portrait of two hapless yet determined young women making their way in New York City. "Broad City's" Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson struggle to find good sex, cheap marijuana, and the smallest modicum of dignity in a harsh urban landscape that is alienating and Kafkaesque, woozily surreal, or punishingly quotidian, depending on the day. The panel includes Poehler, show stars Glazer and Jacobson, and will be moderated by Seth Rogen. ID ISN'T ALWAYS PRETTY: AN EVENING WITH BROAD CITY will take place onSunday, November 9th at 6:00 PM.

Among the many other great shows added to the festival line-up are Comics to Watch, a stand-up show featuring the very best new talent from across the country, which will take place on November 5 at Carolines on Broadway; one of "The Queens of Comedy," Sommore, will headline at Carolines on Broadway, from November 6 - 9; Jim Gaffigan is in conversation with WQXR radio's Elliott Forrest on November 6 at The Greene Space; also on November 6, Pete Holmes performs at The Bell House in Brooklyn; the final round of the New York's Funniest Stand-Up competition, a contest that is open to any and all comedians in New York City who have what it takes to be called "New York's Funniest," which will take place on November 8 at Carolines on Broadway; and Bob Odenkirk celebrates the release of his book, "A Load of Hooey," with a performance on November 9 at the Gramercy Theatre.
