New SC Theatre Company headed by Broadway Vet to host event featuring Karen Murphy star of current 'Finding Neverland' tour on July 27 from 12-1:30 PM.


Meet and Greet Karen Murphy who plays Mrs. du Maurier in the current National Tour of Finding Neverland, playing Greenville's Peace Center July 25-30.
The event takes place at noon in Greenville's Village of West Greenville at "Dr. Mac Arnold's Blues Restaurant" . Tickets ( suggested donation $5-$10) are available on the company's website www.scpart.org or can be purchased at the door. Seating is limited.


Kimilee Bryant, co-founder (PART) with Candice Bryant will mediate the event in which Ms. Murphy will talk about her vast Broadway and National Tour experiences, Actors Equity Association and more. Ms. Bryant appeared as "Christine", "Carlotta" and "Madame Giry" on Broadway in The Phantom of the Opera and was an original cast member of The Pirate Queen on Broadway among many Off -Broadway, National Tour and regional credits. Candice Bryant appeared on the CBS drama, "Unforgettable" and recently graduated Summa Cum Laude with a theatre degree from USC-Upstate. They are both members of Actors Equity and Screen Actors Guild/American Federation of Radio and Television Artists.


Karen Murphy, Broadway veteran, has enjoyed an expansive career from stepping in for Angela Lansbury during the Broadway revival of A Little Night Music to winning a Drama Desk nomination for the off Broadway musical: My Vaudeville Man. Other Broadway credits: A Christmas Carol, 9 to 5 (atta gurl drunk), All Shook Up, King David, Titanic, 42nd St, and NYC Opera in Most Happy Fella. Off Bway Zombie Prom, Showtune, My Vaudeville Man, Forbidden Bway, Hysterical Blindness. National Tours: Les Miz, White Christmas, Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins. Recordings: Zombie Prom, My Vaudeville Man and Karen's CD debut: Torch Goddess avail at CD Baby and ITUNES. Orchestras across the USA and Canada have heard Karen in The Nifty 50's: The golden Age of Black and White. Proud member ACTORS EQUITY


Great for a variety of audiences interested in theatre ( patrons, students, educators producers).

Attendees will be welcome to purchase lunch at the venue, if desired. All donations go to PARTheatre and their endeavors to present professional productions in SC and bring outreach and education to all with a special emphasis on those in the autistic community.
