Need Help Entering the HAMILTON Digital Lottery? Ham App Has Arrived!

Launching today, Ham App is an iPhone app that does one thing and does it well: help you enter the lottery to see Hamilton every day. The hit musical is sold out for the rest of the year, so the best chance that most fans have is to enter the daily lottery. However, until Ham App, that process was annoying and required remembering to enter every day.

Now with Ham App, you will be reminded every day when the lottery opens with a simple and fun push notification, taking you directly to the lottery entry page. Hamilton fans will never again miss a chance to enter the lottery.

In addition, Ham App works in tandem with the website for the Hamilton Lottery to auto-fill your personal information every day that you enter - turning the 3 minutes everyday you have to spend entering the lottery into a less-than 5-second process.

Ham App was developed by Lukas Thoms, an avid Hamilton fan and co-founder of the local shopping app Shophood. "Immediately after I saw Hamilton a few weeks ago I wanted to see it again. Since it's sold out for the rest of the year, the best chance I have is to enter the lottery. After going through the cumbersome and user-hostile lottery process, I realized I could make it much easier to enter the lottery. So I did," said Thoms. Thoms emphasized that he is just a fan of Hamilton, and not in any way affiliated with the Hamilton Musical.

Ham App is available beginning today, March 16th for download in the App Store.

Ham App is not officially affiliated with Hamilton.

The cast of Hamilton is comprised of Lin-Manuel Miranda (Alexander Hamilton), Daveed Diggs(Marquis De Lafayette,Thomas Jefferson),Renée Elise Goldsberry (Angelica Schuyler),Christopher Jackson (George Washington), Jonathan Groff (King George),Jasmine Cephas Jones (Peggy Schuyler, Maria Reynolds), Javier Muñoz (Hamilton alternate),Okieriete Onaodowan(Hercules Mulligan, James Madison), Leslie Odom, Jr. (Aaron Burr), Anthony Ramos(John Laurens, Philip Hamilton) and Phillipa Soo (Eliza Hamilton).

From bastard orphan to Washington's right hand man, rebel to war hero, loving husband caught in the country's first sex scandal to Treasury head who made an untrusting world believe in the American economy, Hamilton is an exploration of a political mastermind. George Washington,Thomas Jefferson, Eliza Hamilton, and lifelongHamiltonfriend and foe, Aaron Burr, all attend this revolutionary tale of America's fiery past told through the sounds of the ever-changing nation we've become. Tony Award nominee Thomas Kail directs this new musical about taking your shot, speaking your mind, and turning the world upside down.
