According to the show's Twitter page, Dave Malloy's electropop opera NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 has a a cast album on the way. A release date has not yet been announced.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the show, which is currently running in New York's Meatpacking District, will soon be forced to leave its space, is considering a Fall transfer to Broadway's Jujamcyn-owned St. James theater.

The show premiered at New York City's Ars Nova last fall for a seven-week sold out run. It was resurrected this Spring at Kazino - a brand new venue created specifically for the show in which audiences are transported to a Russian supper club, complete with an authentic Russian menu and bar, by way of a temporary structure that rises at the corner of West 13th Street and Washington Street - wedged between The High Line and The Standard Hotel.

NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 features direction by Rachel Chavkin and many of the original cast members from Ars Nova: Brittain Ashford as 'Sonya,' Gelsey Bell as 'Princess Mary,' Blake DeLong as 'Bolkonsky/Andrey,' Amber Gray as 'Helene,' Ian Lassiter as 'Dolokhov,' Dave Malloy as 'Pierre,' Grace McLean as 'Marya D,' Paul Pinto as 'Balaga,' Phillipa Soo as 'Natasha,' and Lucas Steele as 'Anatole.'
