On Sunday, November 16 at 7PM four new musicals will be presenting 15 minute excerpts for an audience and a panel of industry professionals. Each show will receive a 5-hour block of rehearsal time at the Factory. A cast of volunteer performers will then have 15 minutes to present each excerpt before an audience and a panel of industry professionals. The audience is invited to offer supportive feedback to the writers and creative teams. Come enjoy a refreshment at the Factory, and get in on the creative process!

The new musicals featured in 4×15 - ROUND FIVE are:

FEARSOME FRANK
Music, Book, and Lyrics by Tim Duncheon
Featuring Sammy Lopez, Sean Bernardi, Kyle Axman, and Michael Kushner
Francisco Guerrero is just your average elderly Spanish composer in the 1590s... until he becomes the owner of a mysterious treasure map. Now, with bloodthirsty pirates knocking down his door--and worse--timid old Francisco must trade the cathedral for the High Seas. Along the way, he just might realize the world is a lot bigger and more beautiful than he thought.

LEGENDS AND LORE
Music and Lyrics by Madeline Myers; Book by Jacob Combs
Featuring Matthew McFarland, Charissa Hogeland, Noah Zachary, AJ Meijer, Joey Medeiros, and Michelle Duffy
Set in rural Georgia in the 1950s, LEGENDS & LORE explores the myth and magic of American folktales as three young friends set out to save their town by searching for a hidden treasure rumored to be hidden in the Appalachian wilderness. As the three friends discover, there is often much more to the stories we know than what we have been told. A celebration of the power of storytelling, LEGENDS & LORE speaks to the optimism of youth and the vital importance of community.

THE SHOWMEN
Music and Lyrics by Noel Carey; Book by Ryan McGovern
Featuring Noah Zachary, William F Coyne III, Monet Sabel, Alexandra Ferrara, Molly Fried, Jordan Shultz, Will Roland, and Jordan Barrow
THE SHOWMEN is Silver Studio's latest hit musical motion picture! Or at least it will be, if freshly hired composer Edward Rutledge can deliver the sensational songs he's promised to studio head Sid Silver. Unfortunately, distractions abound upon meeting Vivian Bradford and Roger Corwood- America's favorite leading couple on (and off) screen. Will Vivian and Edward fall hopelessly in love? Will Roger stop breathing down Edward's neck long enough for anyone to find out? There's only one thing to be certain of working through love, and working in pictures- nothing is as it appears on first sight.

THE CRAZY ONES
Music and Lyrics by Zack Zadek; Book by Alex Pototsky
Featuring Chris Renalds, Brittany Proia, Anthony Jackson, Sam Simahk, and Elise Taff
In 1982, Steve Jobs was on top of the world, and his company - Apple - was the most important in Silicon Valley. But as the war for personal computing ignites, Steve suffers a sudden fall from grace and is forced to face his wild bipolarity, his crippling fear of abandonment, and the family he pretended he didn't have, in order to return from the bottom and leave the legacy he always dreamed of.
