In an exclusive one-night-only performance, Julia Murney and Chelsea Krombach, acclaimed stars of the hit blockbuster musical Wicked, will join musical theater all-star group The Broadway Boys as very special guests at their special holiday-themed Broadway at Birdland performance, this Monday, December 3, 2007 at 7PM.

Julia Murney joined the Wicked family as Elphaba in the National Tour, a role she then brought to Broadway. She received widespread critical and popular acclaim, as well as a Drama Desk Award nomination as Outstanding Actress in a Musical, for her work as Queenie in the 2000 World Premiere of Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party. Murney has also appeared in the Broadway production of Lennon, as well as the Manhattan Theater Club's A Class Act and Time and Again (Nomination, Outstanding Featured Actress, Lucille Lortel Award, 2001).

A graduate of the University of Michigan, Chelsea Krombach made her debut with the National Tour of Wicked. Among her notable credits are Amneris in the Musical Theatre of Wichita's production of Aida, and as herself in Pasek and Paul's Edges.

The Broadway Boys are up of the hottest male talents gracing the New York stage, including: Danny Calvert (Altar Boyz), Steve Morgan (Good Vibrations), Maurice Murphy (Spelling Bee), Jesse Nager (Mary Poppins), Josh Strickland (Tarzan) and Daniel Torres (The Pirate Queen). Performing in groups of six, The Broadway Boys are able to explore harmonies rarely presented by Broadway singers and create their signature "Symphony of Sound," mixing pop, jazz, gospel, and funk elements with Broadway standards.

Broadway at Birdland is a long-running, critically-heralded and popular concert series presented by Jim Caruso's Cast Party and TheaterMania.com

The Broadway Boys perform Monday, December 3, 2007 at 7PM at Birdland (315 West 44th Street, between 8th & 9th Aves).
