At every performance of Martin Short's hilarious new show, FAME BECOMES ME, Short's celebrity interview character Jiminy Glick plucks a celebrity out of the audience for an impromptu interview. On Tuesday, October 24th, Bette Midler will be Jiminy's latest victim. Also appearing this week are Dylan Baker, Tucker Carlson and Nia Vardalos.

Recent celebrities to occupy the "hot seat" have been Jerry Seinfeld, Steve Martin, Nathan Lane, Rosie O'Donnell, Conan O'Brien, Rosanne Barr, Jimmy Fallon, Regis Philbin, James Belushi, Tracey Ullman, Martha Stewart and Larry King.

Run over to the Bernard B. Jacobs this Tuesday, October 24th and find out what Jiminy Glick will ask BETTE!

Tucker Carlson (Thursday October 26)
Nia Vardalos (Friday October 27)

Martin Short: FAME BECOMES ME features Short in a comic tour de force guiding us through an improbable version of his life story. Backed by a brilliant cast of top Broadway performers (who constantly steal focus from Mr. Short when he's not looking), Short's transparent play for love and attention asks the burning question, does an autobiography really have to be true?

Tickets for FAME BECOMES ME are available through Telecharge: (212) 239-6200 or www.telecharge.com or by visiting the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street) box office. Performances are Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday and Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.
