Menzel, Diggs, Law et al. Head to 'Sesame Street' This Season

According to published reports, stage vets Idina Menzel and hisband Taye Diggs, Jude Law, Kyra Sedgwick, Terrence Howard, and Jennifer Garner are among the celebrities that will be stopping by Sesame Street this upcoming season.  Additional guests include Jason Bateman, Amy Poehler, Colin Farrell, Ryan Reynolds, Zoe Saldana, Wanda Sykes, Anna Faris, Katy Perry, Reverend Run, Usher, will.i.am, Reggie Bush, LaDainian Tomlinson and cast members from Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family, The View, Food Network, Today, The Insider and American Idol's Kara DioGuardi.

Menzel and Diggs will appear together on an upcoming episode of the long-running PBS children's show during the "Word of the Day" segment, presenting the word "allergic."  No air date has been set, but BroadwayWorld will keep you posted!

Sesame Street, the children's educational and entertainment program, is well known for its Muppets characters created by Jim Henson. It premiered on November 10, 1969, making it one of the longest running children's programs on television.
