The Marble Community Gospel Choir will be holding a rousing concert during which a special collection will be taken for Haiti relief at 2PM on Sunday, February 21st at Marble Collegiate Church, 1 West 29th Street.

All proceeds from the collection will be earmarked for Haiti relief.

Joining the Marble choir at the concert will be Gordon Chambers (Grammy-winning singer/songwriter for Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston and Beyonce) and the Remnant Concert Choir of Pittsburgh's Mount Ararat Baptist Church, National Runner-Up for Verizon's "How Sweet the Sound" competition.

This season, the Marble choir had the distinct honor of being crowned Regional Winners and National Finalists in Verizon's "How Sweet the Sound" competition.

The choir is comprised of a group of volunteers and professional singers who are committed to "singing a new song to the Lord."

Tickets are available for purchase at the door beginning 30 minutes prior to the concert. Admission to the concert is $10 for students and $15 for adults. Childcare is provided free of charge.
