To celebrate 10 dazzling years on Broadway this October MAMMA MIA! launches the new "Rock Chick Supremo" T-shirt to coincide with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This very wearable and highly collectable T-shirt will raise awareness for one of the world's major breast cancer charities and attract donations from all over the world.

A chance meeting at The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF) Symposium and Awards luncheon last year between Judy Craymer, creator and producer of the global hit musical MAMMA MIA! and cartoonist Marisa Acocella Marchetto, both recipients of BCRF's Humanitarian Award, looks set to make a major contribution to the charity's resources. Their shared interest in BCRF led to them to design and produce the new "Rock Chick Supremo" T-shirt.

The "Rock Chick Supremo" shirt will retail for $40., with $30. from the sale of every T-shirt going directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®.

The stylish white, pink and silver T-shirt, made from 100% soft organic cotton, will raise awareness and generate income for one of the world's major breast cancer charities. Its appeal will reach across the international fashion scene and will also be on sale at MAMMA MIA! theaters on Broadway, in London, across the country and internationally. Sassy and fun, the T-shirt is a fashionable and enjoyable way for women to raise both money and awareness for the work of the foundation and the disease in general.

The phrase ‘Rock Chick Supremo' is a quote from the script of the musical, and perfectly sums up the spirit of MAMMA MIA!, a story with women at its heart. The production is embraced and loved by women of all ages, worldwide, and has so far raised nearly $1 million for BCRF.

When Marisa Acocella Marchetto was originally diagnosed with breast cancer, she wrote and illustrated her inspiring story The Cancer Vixen, a witty, big-hearted chronicle of survival, with all proceeds from its sales donated to the Foundation, while Judy Craymer has also been a long term supporter of the charity.

"Marisa is an inspirational person and a very funny and brilliant cartoonist," commented MAMMA MIA! producer Judy Craymer, "It has been fantastic to collaborate with her."

From London's West End to Broadway, to global phenomenon, MAMMA MIA! is Judy Craymer's ingenious vision blending the story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs with an enchanting tale of family and friendship, all unfolding in a Greek island paradise. The hit musical has now been seen by over 50 million people in over 300 cities across the world, since its launch in London in 1999. It has been produced in 14 different languages, most recently becoming the first ever global musical to be produced in Mandarin Chinese when it opened in Shanghai in July 2011.

With music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, MAMMA MIA! is written by Catherine Johnson, directed by Phyllida Lloyd and choreographed by Anthony Van Laast. The production is designed by Mark Thompson with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.

MAMMA MIA! is produced by Judy Craymer, Richard East and Björn Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal.

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® was founded in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder as an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to funding innovative clinical and translational research. In October 2011, BCRF will award $36.5 million to more than 185 scientists across the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and China. Currently, more than 90 cents of every dollar donated is directed to breast cancer research and awareness programs. With exceptionally low administrative costs, BCRF continues to be one of the most efficient organizations in the country. BCRF has received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator and an "A+" from The American Institute of Philanthropy. Visit www.bcrfcure.org
