Luke Combs Opens Up on New Baby, No. 1 Album at SUNDAY SITDOWN LIVE
The conversation took place at City Winery Nashville as part of a live taping.
Luke Combs discussed the arrival of his third child, his chart-topping new album and the mainstream surge of country music during a conversation with Willie Geist for SUNDAY SITDOWN LIVE, taped at City Winery Nashville. The event, sponsored by the venue, gave Combs a hometown setting to reflect on a busy stretch both personally and professionally.
Much of the discussion centered on Combs' latest album, Back in the Saddle, which has reached No. 1. He also spoke about family life following the birth of his third child, offering a personal counterpoint to the career milestones he has been racking up.
Combs and Geist also touched on the broader shift country music has undergone in recent years, with the genre pushing further into mainstream popularity, a trend Combs has been credited with helping to drive. The conversation framed his own commercial success as part of that larger cultural moment for country artists.
The sitdown offered a glimpse into how Combs balances his expanding family with the demands of a career built on consistent chart success, as he continues to headline one of country music's most closely watched moments of crossover growth.
