At the Louis Armstrong House Museum, the Museum welcomes visitors to explore how the improbable life of Louis Armstrong influenced world music and the Civil Rights Movement. The Museum contains the world's largest Archives devoted to a single jazz musician, including an extensive collection of artifacts and furnishings that belonged to the Armstrongs. In addition to the Applebee's Tour gift, each visitor will receive a rare photograph of Armstrong at the Suburban Gardens in New Orleans in 1931, a groundbreaking moment in Civil Rights. An exclusive excerpt from one of Louis's own, never-before-published manuscripts is printed on the reverse. Complimentary with museum admission while supplies last. (Limit - one per visitor.)

Louis Armstrong House Museum is a National Historic Landmark and New York City Landmark.

In addition to the Louis Armstrong House Museum, the Black History Month 5 Boro Tour includes: African Burial Ground National Monument, Langston Hughes Community Library & Cultural Center - Queens Library, MoCADA, National Jazz Museum in Harlem, Sandy Ground Historical Society Museum, Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture - New York Public Library, Weeksville Heritage Center and the Woodlawn Conservancy.

Tierney. "Three of the cultural institutions included on the tour - the Louis Armstrong House, the Weeksville Heritage Center and the African Burial Grounds - are New York City landmarks, making an even more compelling case for visiting them."
