Liza Minnelli has cancelled her national tour due to health concerns.

According to Tulsa World, "Officials with Minnelli's management said Minnelli's doctor requested she cancel a series of shows to focus on improving her health."

Minnelli was slated to perform her show "Great Day" on Thursday, November 12, at 7:30pm at The Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center, OK, where Kristin Chenoweth held her recent "Coming Home" concert before cancelling.

Manager Ken DiCamillo of WME Entertainment said to Tulsa World, "Liza Minnelli has been advised by her physician to cancel her upcoming concerts in Oklahoma and Texas. She deeply regrets that she will not be able to perform for her devoted fans and is very grateful for the love they have shown her throughout her career."

Currently in her sixth decade of performing, Liza Minnelli, winner of four Tony Awards, an Oscar, a Grammy, two Golden Globe Awards, an Emmy and a BAFTA, remains one of the world's most beloved entertainers.

Liza Minnelli was born in Los Angeles and made her screen debut as a toddler in the musical In the Good Old Summertime in 1949. One of the world's best-loved entertainers, she won Tony awards for Flora, the Red Menace in 1965, Liza at the Winter Garden in 1977, The Act in 1978 and Liza's at the Palace in 2009. Nominated for an Academy Award for The Sterile Cuckoo in 1969, she went on to win the Best Actress prize for her best-known film, Cabaret (1973), which also won her a Golden Globe Award and a BAFTA.
