Lauren Kennedy Confirmed for That's Andy Reading

Lauren Kennedy (Spamalot) has been confirmed for the upcoming reading of That's Andy, a new musical seeing a reading March 26 at 7PM. Kennedy will play the part of theatre legend Mary Martin.

Also starring Burke Moses (Kiss Me, Kate) and Tony-Award winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone), the show follows a young boy (played by Mary Poppins' Henry Hodges) who dreams of taking on the title role in Annie. The show is aiming for a Broadway run.

The reading will also feature Broadway veterans Joan Barber and Terri Furr, and boasts music by Kevin Carter. The book and are lyrics by Crystal Skillman, based on an idea by Robert Jay Cronin.
