LO-FI NYC is the wild basement comedy show you've always dreamed of. With stand-up, sketches, sledgehammers and subway musicians, it's a little like The Muppet Show, but with fewer puppets and way more drinking.

Members of the cast have written for Playboy, The Onion, The New Yorker, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with David Letterman, and Clickhole; one of them actually won an Emmy. And now they're all slumming it with Lo-Fi.

November's show will feature Kevin Bauer (Good Morning Astoria), Sage Boggs (The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon), Ayo Edebiri (Disembodied Hand), Noah Gebstadt (The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon), Rachel Joravsky (50 Central, ThatShitRay), Mamoudou N'Diaye (Comedy Central, The NY Comedy Festival), Aaron Nemo (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert), Rachel Pegram (The Week Of, UCB), David Rafailedes (Good Morning Astoria), Blythe Roberson (The New Yorker), and Bob Vulfov (UCB, McSweeney's) with music by Matt DeCaro (Beat Bobby Flay, Kitten Bowl V), a video from Mike Breen (SF Sketchfest, The Brooklyn Comedy Festival), and Lo-Fi's resident DJ/MC, Taylor Gonzalez (deadassTV).

Lo-Fi NYC is presented at UNDER St. Marks (94 St. Marks Place between 1st Avenue and Avenue A) every Third Saturday of the month at 10:30pm. Tickets ($5) are available online at www.FRIGIDnewyork.info. Visit www.lofi.nyc for more info on the show!

FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade is a theater development group with a focus on new work that produces a massive quantity of stimulating downtown theater every season. FRIGID's Resident Artist Program offers a home to a select group of Independent theater artists, pooling together a great deal of talent and energy. FRIGID New York grew out of the annual FRIGID Festival, the first and only festival of its kind in New York City to offer artists 100% of their box office proceeds, and Horse Trade Theater Group, a self-sustaining theater development and management group.
