L.A. LAW Original Cast to Celebrate First-Ever Live Reunion

For the first time since the top-rated Emmy-winning series' historic finale, five principal members from the original cast of NBC's iconic 1980s-90s legal drama L.A. LAW will be reuniting in public exclusively for their fans next month here at Chiller Theater Expo.

Corbin Bernsen, Susan Ruttan, Michele Greene, Jill Eikenberry and Michael Tucker, pillars of the original ensemble cast of the heart-pounding series, will come together to meet, greet, sign autographs and take photos with their fans Friday, Oct. 26 through Sunday, Oct. 28 at the Hilton Parsippany, One Hilton Court, Parsippany, NJ 07054. The exclusive Chiller Theatre Expo event follows the first major nationally televised reunion of original L.A. LAW cast members on today's edition of CBS's The Talk.

L.A. LAW virtually created the ensemble drama as we know it today. More than simply appointment television, it was water-cooler television, something to be chatted and argued about at work the next day during its eight-year run (1986-94). The seminal series quickly became a key component of NBC's legendary Thursday night "Must See TV" lineup, a one-night golden age which for years also included The Cosby Show and Cheers. L.A. LAW was such a seismic event in the late 1980s TV landscape that it inspired many other legal series. It was considered hugely original for abandoning a case-of-the-week structure in favor of ongoing legal and personal storylines while simultaneously delving into the minutiae of the legal profession within the lusciously deluxe world of big money law firm McKenzie Brackman.

The characters of L.A. LAW quickly became part of our lives and our culture.

Here's who you'll see at Chiller Theatre Expo:

Corbin Bernsen - Nominated for both an Emmy® Award and a Golden Globe Award® as ARNIE Becker, the slick and shallow DIVORCE lawyer, whose womanizing and opportunistic ways ironically epitomized the cases his character defended, often placing him in precarious situations his beleaguered secretary was left to protect.

Susan Ruttan - Ruttan earned four Emmy® Award nominations® as Roxanne Melman, the long-suffering secretary to ARNIE Becker. Roxanne was gutsy enough to tell off her jerky boss while working humbly and ably in an office where greed was the creed.

Michele Greene - Emmy® nominated for her role of Abby Perkins, who morphed from a meek young lawyer to a self-confident legal dynamo over the first five seasons. In what was later revealed as a ratings publicity stunt, Greene's character also made history for engaging in primetime TV's first lesbian kiss (with Amanda Donohoe) on the show.

Jill Eikenberry & Michael Tucker -The real-life couple was already married over a decade when the show premiered, and their romance was converted to the small screen during the series' run. As attorney Ann Kelsey, Eikenberry earned four Emmy® nominations, two Golden Globe nominations and a Golden Globe® Award and became a symbol for women to be tough in their career pursuits. The show also gave her a forum for going public with her breast cancer via the primetime NBC documentary, Destined to Live. Tucker, as Stuart Markowitz, gathered three Emmy® nominations and two Golden Globe® nominations. Tucker's character is known for learning the mysterious bedroom act "Venus Butterfly," and using it on Ann, resulting in a bombardment of calls and letters from viewers seeking more details on the technique, which were never revealed.
