Broadway composer John Bucchino will appear on WBAI-FM's "Everything Old Is New Again" hosted by Dave Kenney on Sunday, August 3rd. The show airs from 9:00 - 11:00PM (EST) on WBAI-FM in New York City.

John will discuss his new CD "David Campbell Sings John Bucchino" on which Campbell, accompanied by Bucchino on piano, tackles 11 of the composer's compositions. The CD, recorded in Campbell's native Australia, is licensed with independent label Social Family Records via Campbell's own label Luckiest Records and has garnered rave reviews:

Connecticut News: The quality and variety of Bucchino's songwriting will make most listeners wish there were more than 11 tracks on the recording.

BroadwayWorld - John Bucchino is a rare compaser tthat actually writes music and lyrics. His songs are indeed melodic but, more to the point, they concentrate on lyrics that tell a story with deep feelings, happy or sad.

John Bucchino's work has been recorded by artists such as Art Garfunkel, Liza Minnelli and Kristin Chenowith and performed at venues across the world - from the Sydney Opera House to the White House. His work with Harvey Fierstein A Catered Affair opened on Broadway in 2008 and won the Drama League Award for Distinguished Production of a Musical.

WBAI 99.5 FM is one of the largest of the listener supported non-commercial radio stations in the world. Its signal can be heard within a 70 miles radius of New York City and can be heard world wide online at: http://stream.wbai.org/.
