Tomorrow, Friday October 12, The After Party is thrilled to welcome 2006 Broadway Idol Jaclyn Huberman and singer / songwriter / pianist Tracy Stark.  Hosted by Brandon Cutrell and Alysha Umphress featuring Lisa Asher, The After Party begins at 10:30PM at the Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Café (407 West 42nd St.) and admission is free!

Last year, Jac Huberman was named the first ever Broadway Idol by NYMF, the New York Musical Theatre Festival. Off-Broadway credits include I Love You Because and Pirates of Penzance. She recently returned from St. Louis where she played Jan in Grease at the magnificent MUNY.  Jac performs her own, one-woman cabarets at great venues around NYC, including The Laurie Beechman Theatre! She has a BA in Psychology from Harvard, but asks that you not hold that against her.

Tracy Stark, winner of the 2005 Bistro Award for Musical Direction, backs up a plethora of vocalists, including her ongoing work as conductor/keyboardist/vocalist for the legendary Lesley Gore, Academy Award nominated actress Karen Black and Randy Jones of The Village People. As a songwriter, Tracy has received awards for many of her songs, most recently garnering a 2006 Honor Award (Great American Song Contest) for her song "Camera." Tracy has appeared in numerous television specials as conductor / keyboardist / vocalist including "The Today Show," "The American Soundtrack Series," and PBS's "Let's Do It Again." Her newest CD, "Feast for the Heart," (produced by Richard Barone) includes a duet with the inimitable Phoebe Snow. For more info, visit www.tracystark.com.
