New Jersey Performing Arts Center will welcome back violinist Itzhak Perlman for a special afternoon event on Sunday, October 25, at 3 PM. Following his sold-out visit in 2023, Perlman returns to present his acclaimed multimedia program, offering audiences an extraordinary journey through his remarkable life and artistry.

Perlman's multimedia program is a unique blend of live violin performances, captivating storytelling, and exclusive visual content. Audiences will enjoy personal anecdotes, rare family photos, and video clips from the GRAMMY-nominated documentary Itzhak. Joining Perlman on stage is esteemed pianist Rohan DeSilva, who will accompany him in a selection of beloved musical pieces.

Born to a Jewish family in Israel, Itzhak Perlman's early love for music propelled him to international fame. Overcoming challenges, he developed a profound connection with the violin, leading to a celebrated relationship with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and appearances with major symphonies across the globe. Perlman is also renowned for his mentorship of young musicians, inspiring generations through his teaching and masterclasses.

Perlman's career is distinguished by numerous awards and honors. He is a recipient of multiple GRAMMY Awards, Emmy Awards, the Kennedy Center Honor, the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and the prestigious Genesis Prize. His contributions to music have been recognized by U.S. Presidents, including distinguished honors and invitations to perform at the White House.

Among his historic performances, Perlman played at the White House for several presidents and participated in President Barack Obama's inauguration. His global concerts have captivated audiences from Carnegie Hall to international stages, solidifying his status as one of the world's greatest violinists.
