2014 was a banner year for BroadwayWorld's most popular and most expansive interview series, InDepth InterViews, and we celebrate the closing of the calender with a look back at the most memorable entries from this year with some of my personal comments on the conversations themselves. InDepth InterView: Elaine Stritch

InDepth InterView: Stephen Daldry

Versatile theatre, film and television director Stephen Daldry gave us the complete rundown of capturing his multi-award-winning mega-hit musical BILLY ELLIOT for a riveting live film presented by Fathom Events, plus shared first comments on directing the feature film adaptation of WICKED. Electric.

InDepth InterView: Tracey Ullman

One of the INTO THE WOODS film stars and a multi-award-winning comedy legend in her own right, Tracey Ullman shared her affection for Sondheim and the great Golden Age movie musicals while appearing in THE BAND WAGON at Encores!. Funny and fabulous.

InDepth InterView: Richard LaGravenese

The director of next year's hotly anticipated THE LAST 5 YEARS feature film spoke to me in painstaking detail about bringing the two-hander to the big screen while also commenting on his work on BEHIND THE CANDELABRA and UNBROKEN, among many other projects.

Academy Award-winning producer Bruce Cohen gave us confirmation of a PUSHING DAISIES musical in the works while promoting his LGTB charity concert presented on the stage of the Gershwin Theater. Win/win.

Original Broadway Annie in ANNIE, Broadway regular Andrea McArdle recounted many career highlights while revisiting her appreciable participation in this year's 10th anniversary celebration BROADWAYWORLD.COM VISITS OZ.

The AMERICAN IDOL standouts and real-life couple took enduring family-friendly musical JOSEPH & THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT on the road and exclusively discussed their many endeavors, old and new. Gorgeous and incredibly talented times two.
