For the second consecutive week, the Tony Award-winning hit MATILDA THE MUSICAL had its best week ever on Broadway, once again breaking the house record at the Shubert Theatre (225 West 44th Street) and grossing $1,329,084 over eight performances for the week ending August 18, 2013.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Kinky Boots, this year's Tony Award-winning Best Musical, has set another new box office record at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, for the sixth time since the week ending June 16, 2013. Kinky Boots' gross for the week ending August 18, 2013 was $1,649,031.00, the highest for any eight-show week at the Hirschfeld Theatre.
