The Harbor Lights Theater Company, led by Executive Artistic Director Tamara Jenkins, Co-Artistic Director Jay Montgomery, and Associate Producer Beth Gittleman, announces that the SUMMER INTENSIVE FOR YOUTH will be offered again this year. Harbor Lights is the first and only professional Equity theater company in Staten Island's history.

Harbor Lights' summer intensive is a pre-professional theater training program for serious students, ages 11- 18. The two week course, targeting theater students with prior training and experience, will take place this summer at Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Gardens. The curriculum consists of daily classes in acting, vocal technique, theater dance, and song interpretation.

Afternoon sessions includes Master Classes, covering all performance disciplines, taught by Broadway Master Teachers. In each Master Class session, every student gets one on one instruction.

Recent HLTC faculty members for the Summer Intensive for Youth have included Master Class teachers Deidre Goodwin (A Chorus Line, Nine, Chicago), Kristy Cates (Wicked), and Broadway casting Directors Arnold Mungioli and Bob Cline.

Faculty for this year's program includes the founders of Harbor Lights -- Tamara Jenkins, Jay Montgomery, and Beth Gittleman.

Dates will be announced soon! Please call 718-273-7516 or email info@theharborlightstheatercompany.org for more information about the Summer Intensive auditions.
