GO RICKI to Return with First Show of 2017!
Back off my man and get ready for a big surprise on Thursday, January 12th at 9:00pm! "Go Ricki" is a monthly stand up & storytelling show at QED Astoria with themes pulled from the ridiculous topics of "The Ricki Lake Show".
Join comedian Matt Smith McCormick (A Friend of Dorothy Zbornak, Cinder Block Comedy Festival) for the first show of 2017 as he hosts some of New York's funniest performers riffing on fake friends, nasty neighbors, and more! It's gonna be all that & a bag of chips, so dump that zero, get yourself a hero, and bring him along for the ride!
January's theme is "You're Not the Life of the Party, and It's Time You Knew You Were an Embarrassing Drunk!" and will feature Alex Broome (Broadway Comedy Club), Ben Rosenfeld (FOX's Laughs, The Russian Optimist), Sydnee Washington (The Warm Up, The Unofficial Expert Podcast), and Jenn Wehrung (Comedy Exclamation Point, Laugh It Up, Astoria). Line-up subject to change.
Tickets are $8 and can be purchased online at https://qedastoria.com/products/go-ricki-4 or at the door. QED Astoria is located at 27-16 23rd Ave., Astoria, NY 11105. Take the N/W to Ditmars.
