Tony award-winning composer Duncan Sheik will perform at The Theatre in West Palm Beach, FL on Sept. 22 at 8pm.  

Sheik, who has also had hits as a pop/rock songwriter, will perform his music from the 2007 Tony Award winning Broadway musical Spring Awakening.  A limited number of tickets is still available for this intimate show at the 300+ seat venue. 

Spring Awakening, with book and lyrics by Steven Sater and music by Sheik, opened on Broadway Sunday, December 10th at the Eugene O'Neill Theater (230 West 49th St.) following its world premiere at the Atlantic Theater Company.

The Tony Award-winning creative team includes director Michael Mayer and choreographer Bill T. Jones with costumes by Susan Hilferty, set design by Christine Jones,  lighting by Kevin Adams and sound by Brian Ronan.

Spring Awakening was the winner of eight 2007 Tony Awards:

 In addition to a US National Tour – slated for the fall of 2008 - Spring Awakening has garnered an international following. Currently in development are productions in the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Israel, Korea, and Australia.

The Spring Awakening Original Broadway Cast recording - released under the Decca Broadway label – has been ranked in the Top 5 of Billboard's Cast Album chart since its debut.
