Details on Why SPIDER-MAN Was Cancelled on 8/6; Show's Back on 8/7
We reported last night that SPIDER-MAN: Turn Off the Dark was cancelled just before show time with stage management letting already lined-up ticket buyers know that the performance was off. Late last night, the producers released word via the official Spider-Man on Broadway Blog with information on refunds and exchanges.
This morning, Spider-Man on Broadway spokesperson Rick Miramontez tells BroadwayWorld.com that "Last night's performance of SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark was cancelled due to technical difficulties that were discovered during pre-set. The problem has been resolved and performances of Broadway's most technologically ground-breaking show will resume as scheduled beginning with today's matinee. "

The producers of Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark and the Foxwoods Theatre management sincerely regret the inconvenience caused by the performance on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 due to a technical difficulty.
Your tickets to this performance will be honored for a future performance of Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark.
Any tickets purchased directly through Ticketmaster will automatically be refunded. There is nothing further you need to do.
To exchange for a future performance, you must hold onto your tickets and contact us in the next 14 days. We will make every effort to accommodate you at your convenience and in a comparable location to the seats you had for this performance. Locations and performance date will be based on availability.
In either case, please hold on to your original tickets as you will need them in order to obtain your replacements from the box office.
