WHITE WAVE Dance has announced the 25th Anniversary Season of the DUMBO Dance Festival, a three-day event featuring 35 contemporary dance companies from New York and around the world. The festival will begin with a gala opening night on June 26 at 6:30 p.m., followed by performances across the weekend.

The festival will showcase more than 200 artists presenting a range of solo, chamber, and full-scale works. Participating companies and artists represent a broad international presence, with performers traveling from across the United States as well as China, Hungary, Korea, and the United Kingdom.

The opening night gala will honor Nicky Paraiso and Eunsil Kim for their contributions to WHITE WAVE Dance and the broader dance community. The evening will include performances by Carolyn Dorfman Dance, Yoshiko Chuma and the School of Hard Knocks, Buglisi Dance Theatre, Jennifer Muller/The Works, and WHITE WAVE Dance, followed by a reception with food, drinks, and a raffle.

Festival programming will continue June 27 and 28 with multiple performance blocks featuring companies such as Mollet Contemporary Ballet, Olivares Dance Company, Zehnder Dance, BK Dance Project, Samaw Dance Company, Li Chiao-Ping Dance, Alison Cook Beatty Dance, and Company | E, among others. The Grand Finale performance on June 28 will close out the weekend with a final slate of featured companies.

Tickets for festival performances are priced at $30 in advance, $35 at the door, and $25 for students and seniors, with gala tickets available at higher tiers.

WHITE WAVE Dance, led by Artistic Director Young Soon Kim, is an internationally recognized contemporary dance company known for presenting innovative choreography and supporting artists through its festival platforms.
