The Drunk Shakespeare Society presents the world premiere production of DRUNK SHAKESPEARE, an irreverent and outrageous new theatrical experience directed by David Hudson, conceived by Scott Griffin & Three Day Hangover (David Hudson, Lori Wolter Hudson and Beth Gardiner) and produced by Scott Griffin.

DRUNK SHAKESPEARE will begin performances on Wednesday, March 26 at Quinn's Bar Upstairs (356 West 44th Street, 2nd Floor). For tickets and more information, please visit www.DrunkShakespeare.com.

This is a limited engagement through June 8, 2014.

For over four-hundred years, the Drunk Shakespeare Society has been meeting and drinking. And drinking, and doing DRUNK SHAKESPEARE. A self-proclaimed "drinking club with a Shakespeare problem," the membership invites audiences to join them for a meeting in their society lounge. The evening begins with one actor drinking more than a sophisticated amount of alcohol before attempting to lead the cast through a Shakespeare story in sixty minutes. The results are messy, outrageous, and the evening devolves into debauchery.

DRUNK SHAKESPEARE will be performed nightly by a rotating company of actors. The cast includes Lucas Calhoun, Kristin Friedlander, Phil Gillen, Kate Gunther, Josh Hyman, Whit Leyenberger, Christina Liu, Lindsey Hope Pearlman, Louis Sallan and Damiyr Shuford.

The design team for DRUNK SHAKESPEARE includes Maddie Bucci (set design), Caitlin Cisek (costume design) and Gordon Hamilton (composer).
