Cuccioli, Maynard & More Star in April 26 Benefit Concert

Tony-nominee Robert Cuccioli, Tyler Maynard and Kate Wetherhead will headline Stuck in the Zipper, a benefit concert at the Zipper Theatre (336 W. 37th St.) featuring new songs by composers Joe Drymala and Eric Svejcar. The latter is currently the musical director of the revival of Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well..., also playing at the Zipper Theater). The show will be presented on April 26th at 7 PM.

Ryan J. Davis will direct the concert, in which Cuccioli (Jacques Brel is Alive and Well..., Jekyll & Hyde), Maynard (Altar Boyz) and Wetherhead (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Sarah, Plain and Tall) will be joined by Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Beauty and the Beast, Seussical), Whitney Bashor, Harris Doran (Actors' Fund benefit concert of Hair), and Kacie Sheik (Las Vegas' We Will Rock You).

The concert will benefit the Matthew Shepard Foundation and the Southern Poverty Law Center. The performers will premiere songs from new summer musicals White Noise (Drymala) and Prince Hal of Soho (Svejcar), as well as material from Svejcar's 2004 NYMF Audience Award Winner Caligula and Drymala's upcoming The Golden City.

Tickets are $25 each and the seating is general admission. Tickets may be purchased through Telecharge (www.telecharge.com, 212-239-6200 or 800-432-7250) or purchased at the box office on the day of the performance only. Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 13th.
