Broadway stars Cory Michael Smith (Breakfast at Tiffany's, Cock) and Krysta Rodriguez (Smash, The Addams Family) will participate at a benefit for the Cape Cod Theatre Project for its 2013 season on Monday, April 8. The two young stars will appear in a ten-minute scene by playwright and 2012 Writer-in-Residence Sharr White (The Other Place).
The theatre, which develops new American plays, begins its 19th season in July, its second under Artistic Director, Hal Brooks. Brooks will announce the slate of four plays and writers-in-residence at the benefit, to be held at Brass Monkey, in the meatpacking district.
The benefit runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Brass Monkey, 55 Little West 12th Street. Tickets are on sale for $75 per person, $140 for a couple and $35 for artists' rate.
