Comedian Alfie Dundas Will Bring FIRST CLASS PANIC to Edinburgh Fringe
The Curtis Brown-presented show will run at Pleasance Courtyard's Bunker Three
Alfie Dundas is landing at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe with his debut hour of stand-up comedy – ‘First Class Panic'. Have you ever had a panic attack in a first-class seat? Neither has Alfie; he flies private. Strap in as this viral sensation (100m+ views) and award-losing comedian (BBC New Comedy Awards 2025) reveals the truth about life and death at the extremities of society.
Join Alfie at Pleasance Courtyard's Bunker Three each evening of the Fringe, 7.15pm, from Wednesday 5th – Sunday 30th August 2026. (previews 5th – 6th August, no performance Tues 18th Aug).
Alfie said: “Before I took up stand-up, I visited the Edinburgh Fringe as a punter and discovered that a lot of the city shares my surname: Dundas Street, Dundas House, 1st Viscount Melville. I thought, ‘Wow, my family must be really popular in Scotland!' I've since learned that's not the case. Luckily my audience are too young and don't have the attention span to read up on history, so I should be fine. I'm hoping I can get away with telling them a soppy story about having a panic attack on one of my many holidays instead.”
Alfie Dundas is a young-looking British stand-up comedian whose smart, self-deprecating storytelling blends personal confession with sharp cultural observation. His comedy tackles class, privilege, family and religious guilt with a disarming mix of deadpan, understatement and emotional honesty.
With over 100 million views across his stand-up clips, Alfie has built a devout following as one of the fastest-rising comedians on the circuit. He regularly performs at top comedy clubs across the UK, including The Comedy Store, Top Secret Comedy Club & The Frog and Bucket.
In October 2024, Alfie filmed his first half-hour comedy special at The Courtyard Theatre in London, which was later released for free on YouTube.
In 2025, Alfie took his second half-hour show, Untitled, to Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and then on to a mini-tour (4 dates). He filmed the show in front of a sold-out crowd at Top Secret Comedy Club in London for a special which was released on YouTube earlier this year.
He is a BBC New Comedy Award nominee (2025) and has supported the likes of Max Fosh, STEPHEN BAILEY and Reuben Solo on their respective tours.
Alfie also co-hosts the cult podcast ‘The Alf & Soph Show!' with fellow comedian Sophie Garrad. Each week the out-of-touch pair break down the biggest stories across the internet and pop culture, in what they describe as ‘the least relatable chat show on the internet'.
