Theatrical singer, songwriter, actor, writer, model, dancer, and DJ Kenyon Phillips announced today that actor/activist Chaske Spencer and celebrity chef and restaurateur Todd English will join the cast of the world premiere performance of The Life + Death of Kenyon Phillips. Previously announced cast members include writer/blogger Michael Musto, writer/performer David Cale, actor/singer and drag performer Flotilla DeBarge (HBO's Angels in America), and Broadway veteran Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent, Anna in the Tropics).

The Life + Death of Kenyon Phillips will play a one night-only premiere performance at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St., New York, NY 10003) tonight, May 2, 2014, at 9:00PM.

The Life + Death of Kenyon Phillips is a 90-minute rock opera that uses an interactive rock-cabaret-variety show format to tell the story of this colorful New Yorker's life and eventual death. Kenyon says his inspiration for the project came from his desire "to take the traditional one-man show idea of 'here's my life story,' and throw a grenade in it."

Tickets are $20 each and available online at www.joespub.com, by visiting the Joe's Pub box office, or by calling (212) 967-7555.
