Cast Announced for Out of the Box Theatrics' 'MATT AND MATTE' Concert

Out of the Box Theatrics has announced the cast of their upcoming concert "Which Comes First: The Music and Lyrics of Matt and Matte."

Drawing performers from the worlds of both theatre and television, the cast will include: Carly Augenstein (Peter & I) , Sara Jayne Blackmore ( I Love Lucy Live), Aynsley Bubbico (Television's Hart of Dixie, Greek ), Dez Duron (Television's The Voi ce) Chris Dwan ( Finding Neverland, Range A capella) , Melissa Rose Hirsch ( The Bad Years) , Paul Ianniello ( Elf ), Geoffrey Kidwell (Waitress), Erin Kukla (Peter & I), Alyson Lange (Mama Mia!), Ana Marcu ( Million Dollar Quartet ), Kenny Metzger (OOTB's ...Charlie Brown ), Johnny Newcomb ( The Last Ship, Ride The Cyclone) , and Celeste Rose ( The Bad Years) .

Which Comes First: The Music and Lyrics of Matt and Matte is set for The Duplex (61 Christopher Street @ 7th Ave, NYC, NY 10014) on June 26th at 6:30PM. It is presented by Producing Artistic Director Elizabeth Flemming, Out of the Box Theatrics, and Justin Nichols.

Matte O'Brien and Matt Vinson (aka 'Matt & Matte') are the gifted pair behind Peter & I, the hit Off-Broadway musical that enjoyed a sold-out run as part of the Araca Project at the American Theatre of Actors. Their eclectic style melds an emotional fusion of folk, rock, soul, and Broadway pop. For this special fundraiser to support Out of the Box Theatrics, Matt & Matte, along with their talented friends, will perform several of their favorite songs and debut an array of new ones. The evening will feature selections from Peter & I , Them or Us, Cake and an exclusive listen to their upcoming epic-folk re-imagining of L.M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables .

Their Anne of Green Gables will be featured at The Finger Lakes Musical Theater Festival's The PiTCH program this summer. The new musical, featuring choreography by Jennifer Jancuska, is currently being developed with Mainspring Arts Cooperative and 31 Tanager Productions.
