Career Transition For Dancers announces the wrap up speaker - Rosalynde LeBlanc for "Stepping into hope and change: A free career development seminar for dancers" this Thursday, April 8th, 2010 at the Actors' Equity Audition Center, 165 West 46th Street (at Broadway) 2nd floor NYC NY 10036. The all-day seminar begins from 9:30-10:00am with Registration. The day's events begin at 10:00 am with a Keynote Speaker: James Fayette - former Principal dancer with New York City Ballet, who is currently the New York Area Dance Executive for the American Guild of Musical Arts (AGMA). This will be followed by breakout sessions: Survival Work; Hot careers and exploration; Dancing into a passion-based career. A lunch will be provided during the Networking/Resource Fair. The afternoon sessions begin at 2:15 pm with plenary speaker Karen Giombetti, a former Broadway dancer who recently opened her own public relations firm. Breakout Sessions will follow, and the final wrap-up to conclude approx. 4:30 pm with Rosalynde LeBlanc, a former member of the Bill T Jones/Arnie Zande Dance Company and White Oaks Dance Project.
