Canada's Bettina May Headlines Gotham Burlesque Tonight

Next month Canada's hottest Burlesque Import Bettina May will headline the Gotham Burlesque April show tonight, April 6 at 10PM which will be hosted by Sultry Soprano Shelly Watson.

The cast of the 4/6 show will also feature Tassle Twirling Troubadours THE NYC BURLESQUE CHOIR, Tap Dancing Sensation GIN MINSKY, Side-Splitting Dance Diva POPPY TART, Contortionist & Aerialist EKATERINA, Master Juggler Jen Slaw, HAZEL HONEYSUCKLE, FOXY VERMOUTH and Stage Kitten Extraordinaire DANGRRR DOLL.

Presented by award-winning filmmaker, artist, and producer Gary Beeber, GOTHAM BURLESQUE is an exciting evening of song, dance, tricks and visual treats that plays STAGE 72 each month with a different cast at the intimate Upper West Side venue, offering audiences a taste of a wide range of live entertainments from both established and up and coming performers and acts.

Gary Beeber is an award-winning American filmmaker whose documentaries Dirty Martini & the New Burlesque, Bally-Master, and Messenger have screened in over 50 festivals and won countless awards. Prior to devoting his energies to documentaries, he was a photographer and producer of art videos shown in 70 galleries and exhibitions worldwide, and several of his works are in corporate collections here in the city at Goldman Sachs, Pfizer Pharmaceutical and Chase.

GOTHAM BURLESQUE plays at STAGE 72 (158 West 72nd Street), with the April show taking place tonight, April 6 at 10pm. Tickets are $55 for premium seating and $39 for general seating and can be purchased online at www.GothamBurlesque.com.
