CFDA Fashion Incubator Orley and W Hotels Team Up on Hat and Scarf for Winter

W Hotels Worldwide and renowned menswear label Orley unveiled a luxurious, limited edition unisex cashmere winter hat and scarf set, designed by Orley exclusively for the W Hotels. The set draws inspiration from the birthplace of W, New York City, and will be available exclusively via W Hotels The Store online and to guests who book the special "All Wrapped Up" Suite Package at any of the four W Hotels in New York City this holiday season. The collaboration is part of the W brand's ongoing, global partnership with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) {FASHION INCUBATOR} program, which offers rising fashion designers, such as Orley, support and exposure through various activations including one-of-a-kind collaborations such as this.

Orley, a designer menswear collection founded by Matthew Orley, Alex Orley and Samantha Orley, launched its luxurious, Italian made knitwear collection in Fall 2012 and expanded into a full men's ready-to-wear collection in 2014. Inspired by the city of New York, and with W's stylish travelers in mind, Orley created a limited-edition winter hat and oversized scarf in a subtle grey mélange and knit in a blend of Italian silk and cashmere. Only 125 sets are being created for W and each label is hand numbered.

"As we designed this set we couldn't help but remember last year's winter weather here in New York City," said Matthew Orley. "No matter how low the temperatures fall, we want to help W guests embrace the cold in style."

To kick off the collaboration, Orley will host an intimate cocktail event tonight in the EWOW Suite of W New York - Times Square to introduce the product to key VIPs, buyers and influencers. The set will then be sold exclusively on www.whotelsthestore.com and be included in a special "All Wrapped Up" Suite Package at any of the four W Hotels in New York:

Just in time for the holiday party season, the "All Wrapped Up" Package is designed to provide men and women with everything they need for a fabulous, albeit frigid, night on the town.
