CD Signing for BARE: A Pop Opera Thursday May 20

The stars of the sold out hit Off-Broadway musical BARE: A Pop Opera, will be appearing Thursday May 20, 2004 at 6:30 PM, and again at 10:45 PM to sign copies of the new CD "Selections from BARE: A Pop Opera," featuring 11 songs from the show. The CD is distributed free to every ticket holder at the theatre, and will also be given tomorrow to the first 200 people in line. Cast members on hand will include Michael Arden, John Hill, Jenna Leigh Green, Kaitlin Hopkins, Aaron Lohr, Adam Fleming, Sasha Allen and other members of the ensemble cast.

The EP, featuring the current cast of BARE, is produced by Sh-K-Boom's Kurt Deutsch and BARE composer Damon Intrabartolo and contains 11 songs currently featured in the show including "Are You There," "911! Emergency!,", "Warning," "A Quiet Night at Home," "Portrait of a Girl," "You and I" and more…

Featuring a book by Jon Hartmere Jr and Damon Intrabartolo, music by Damon Intrabartolo with lyrics by Jon Hartmere Jr, BARE explores the pains and pleasures of five high school seniors at a co-ed Catholic boarding school as they struggle to grow up in these complicated, conflicted, contemporary times. Each of them question where they are in their lives. Answers are sought in the church confessional and in less formal venues including a stage, a rave, and a well-locked dorm room. BARE is directed by Kristin Hanggi.
