Bronx Music Hall to Present Pride, Juneteenth, Latin Jazz and Afro-Puerto Rican Events
Bobby Sanabria and Los Pleneros de la 21 will headline a series of performances at the Bronx venue.
June will bring a vibrant mix of music, culture, and community celebrations to the Bronx Music Hall (BMH), featuring events that honor Afro-Puerto Rican traditions, Juneteenth, LGBTQ+ Pride Month, neurodiversity, and the continuing evolution of Latin jazz.
The month's highlight is the June 20th "¡BAILA!: Latin Music Dance Party" featuring Bronx Music Heritage Center Co-Artistic Director and multi-Grammy nominated percussionist Bobby Sanabria and his Multiverse Big Band. The part celebrates the release of Arsenio and Beyond: Live at the Bronx Music Hall, recorded live at the BMH and honoring legendary Cuban bandleader and composer Arsenio Rodríguez, whose innovations helped shape Afro-Cuban music, salsa, and Latin jazz and who spent part of his life living in the Bronx.
The month also marks the Bronx Music Hall's participation in New York City's new NYC Neighborhood Passport program, launched in conjunction with the 2026 FIFA World Cup to encourage New Yorkers and visitors to explore the city's diverse neighborhoods, cultural institutions, and community organizations.
