Broadway's Telly Leung to Perform as Part of Met's Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month, 5/22

The Metropolitan Museum of Art will present a fun evening event this Friday, May 22, celebrating Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month. Enjoy performances by Telly Leung, veteran Broadway performer and star of the upcoming production of Allegiance; traditional ancient hula and Tahitian dances by Lei Pasifika of Lotus Music & Dance; music by koto player Yumi Kurosawa; and taiko drumming by Soh Daiko.
The first act will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. in the Great Hall, followed by performances in the Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium at 6:30 p.m.

This event is free with Museum admission. Seating is first come, first served.

In addition, the Museum's Great Hall Balcony Bar is now offering a special menu-edamame, yakitori, grilled salmon rolls, sake, etc.-crafted by the Met's chefs in conjunction with the exhibition Discovering Japanese Art: American Collectors and the Met.
