Broadway's Original 'Frankie Valli' John Lloyd Young to Star in JERSEY BOYS in the West End from March 15

The Daily Mail writes that Broadway's John Lloyd Young, who created the role of Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys on the Great White Way, will be hopping across the pond to star in Jersey Boys in the West End, beginning March 15 at the show's new home, the Piccadilly Theatre.

He will perform through April 27, 2014. Ryan Molloy, currently playing Valli, will depart the production on March 9.

JERSEY BOYS is set to move to the Piccadilly to make way for MISS SAIGON.

Lloyd Young also stars in the highly anticipated big screen adaptation of the musical JERSEY BOYS, directed by Clint Eastwood. The film will be released in theatres on June 20, 2014.

Lloyd Young won the 2006 Tony, Theatre World and Drama Desk awards for his performance in JERSEY BOYS. He has also appeared off-Broadway in The Summer of the Swans and Sarah, Plain and Tall.
