Broadway Stars Arrive for Their Stay at The Muny's HOLIDAY INN Tonight

The Muny presents Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn, beginning tonight, July 6, and running through July 12, 2015.

Based on the 1942 film, Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn features music and lyrics by Irving Berlin with a book by Gordon Greenberg and Chad Hodge. Greenberg will direct the Muny production with choreography by Denis Jones. Musical direction is by James Moore, vocal and dance arrangements are by Sam Davis with additional arrangements by Bruce Pomahac, and orchestrations by Larry Blank. The Muny's production of Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn is its second production worldwide.

"To have so many of our Muny family back creating this wonderful new Irving Berlin show is an honor and a joy. We're so grateful to have the support of Universal Stage Productions for this Muny premiere."

The full cast of Holiday Inn includes Patti Murin (Linda Mason), Colin Donnell (Jim Hardy), Noah Racey (Ted Hanover), Nancy Opel (Louise), Danny Rutigliano (Danny), Holly Ann Butler (Lila Dixon) and Phoenix Lawson (Charlie).

The ensemble includes Alissa Alter, Matthew Borchers, Stephen Brower, Abby Church, Darien Crago, Caley Crawford, Sarah Fagan, Jeremiah Ginn, Juliane Godfrey, Laura Harrison, Bryan Thomas Hunt, Darrell T. Joe, Sean Jones, Charles Ogilvie MacEachern, Isabelle McCalla, Connor McRory, Drew Nellessen, Amy Van Norstrand, Kelly Sheehan and John T. Wolfe.

The design team includes scenic design by Tim Mackabee, costume design by Alejo Vietti, lighting design by Rob Denton, sound design by John Shivers and Hugh Sweeney, video design by Nathan Scheuer, and wig design is by Leah Loukas. The production stage manager is Monica Dickhens.

Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn dances its way onto the Muny stage, telling the story of a Connecticut farmhouse transformed into a jubilant nightspot and hotel that is only open on holidays. Holiday Inn features such Irving Berlin classics as "Happy Holidays," "Easter Parade," "White Christmas," "Be Careful, It's My Heart" and more!

PATTI MURIN (Linda Mason) Patti originated the role of Linda Mason in Holiday Inn at the Goodspeed Opera House. Previous Muny appearances include The Little Mermaid (Ariel) and Chicago (Roxie Hart). Broadway/National Tour: Lysistrata Jones (Lysistrata), Wicked (Glinda), Xanadu (Euterpe). Other favorite credits include Lady, Be Good! for Encores! (Susie Trevor), Fly by Night at Playwrights Horizons (Daphne), Love's Labour's Lost for Shakespeare in the Park (Princess) and the title role in Emma at the Old Globe. BFA Syracuse University.

COLIN DONNELL (Jim Hardy) Broadway: Violet, Anything Goes (Drama Desk, Outer Critics and Astaire nominations) and Jersey Boys. Other NY credits: Follies, Merrily We Roll Along, Lady, Be Good! NOAH RACEY (Ted Hanover)Noah created the role of Ted Hanover in the world premiere of Holiday Inn at the Goodspeed Opera House. Broadway: Curtains, Never Gonna Dance, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Follies. Off Broadway: Ernest In Love (Irish Rep); Syncopation (York Theatre). Seen at The Muny in West Side Story and Crazy For You. Wrote, choreographed and starred in - Noah Racey's Pulse (world premiere Asolo Repertory Theatre, directed by Jeff Calhoun).

PHOENIX LAWSON (Charlie) is thrilled to be back on the Muny stage for his second season, and his first year with The Muny Kids Touring Troupe.
