An Evening with Family Guy's Alex Borstein & Seth MacFarlane: A Benefit for the Writers Guild of America Strike Fund is set for tonight Thursday, January 31 at the legendary Carnegie Hall. Performance at 8:00 PM. Proceeds will benefit the Writers Guild Of America, East Strike Fund.

This one-night-only evening of music and comedy will include wild renditions of pop anthems and musical theater numbers, with special guest appearances by Patti LuPone and Janeane Garofalo.

Alex Borstein, known for her wildly popular character Ms. Swan on "MAD TV," was seen on the big screen opposite George Clooney in Good Night, and Good Luck, Halle Berry in Catwoman, and most recently she appeared in Scott Frank's The Lookout. Borstein also writes for and provides the voice of matriarch Lois in the critically acclaimed animated series "Family Guy" for FOX.

Seth MacFarlane began his career studying animation and design at the Rhode Island School of Design. After moving to LA, he went on to work on numerous animated series including "Ace Ventura," "Jungle Cubs" and "Johnny Bravo."  MacFarlane created, animated, wrote, directed and provided all the main male characters' voices for what became "Family Guy."

Proceeds from this one-night-only event benefiting the Writers Guild of America, East Strike Fund will be shared with the Actors' Fund. The Actors' Fund assists all entertainment professionals, including those behind the scenes. An Evening with Alex Borstein & Seth MacFarlane: A Benefit for the Writers Guild of America Strike Fund is presented by David J. Foster and Jared Geller in association with COMIX Comedy Club.

An Evening with Alex Borstein & Seth MacFarlane: A Benefit for the Writers Guild of America Strike Fund will take place Thursday, January 31 at 8:00 PM.
