Bleu, Miranda and Ortega Join To Launch National Best Friends Day

By: Jun. 08, 2010

BFF Entertainment and the American Freedom Foundation (AFF) are partnering to create a unique program that unites Americans with our service members beginning on National Best Friends Day, June 8th. The BFF "One 4 You, One 4 Me" initiative has created bracelets, sold in pairs and uniquely numbered. With every bracelet purchased, its pair is sent to a member of the US Armed Forces, (or a direct member of their family). Wearing these bracelets links America's youth, (BFF's demographic) to service men and women in the Armed Forces and symbolizes not only an acknowledgment of support for their efforts on behalf of our country but a connection and friendship that bridges perspectives.

To celebrate the launch of this initiative Corbin Bleu, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Kenny Ortega will be joined by officers of the US military at the Armed Forces Recruiting Station in Times Square to proudly show their support for American service men and women in the US and overseas by wearing a BFF bracelet.

WHEN: Tuesday, June 8th at 3pm

WHERE: Armed Forces Recruiting Station in Times Square, 43rd
Street between Broadway and 7th Ave.
