Bette Midler to Recieve Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award, 6/14

On June 14, singer, actor and comedian Bette Midler will be presented with the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award by the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York.
Jimmy Webb, chairman of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, told perezhilton.com: "Bette Midler captivated the world early in her long career with her stylish presentation and unmistakable voice, making each song her own, and turning them into pure gold.”
