Ben Fankhauser, Amber Iman & More to Sing Joey Contreras at Rockwood Music Hall, 11/3

Stars from the Broadway musicals Newsies, Motown The Musical, Godspell, Soul Doctor and American Idiot join musical pop songwriter, Joey Contreras for his return to Rockwood Music Hall on Sunday, November 3rd at 9PM. After playing a packed house earlier in August, the award-winning songwriter will be delivering a bigger band with more tunes from his upcoming album, Young Kind of Love.

Contreras states, "The music at this concert will not only showcase some of my older material in a new light, but also premiere some of my explorations into newer pop sounds and structures. I'm very lucky to have such an incredible line up of talent with me to bring these songs to life."

Audiences can expect performances by Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Amber Iman (Soul Doctor), Alysha Umphress (American Idiot), Kyle Beltran (In The Heights), Mykal Kilgore (Motown The Musical), Hannah Elless (Godspell), Eric Michael Krop (Godspell) and Brad Greer (The Broadway Boys) with more to be announced.

Currently the first Artist-in-Residence for Broadway Dreams Foundation, Joey has played to sold out crowds at Joe's Pub, Lincoln Center, (le) Poisson Rouge and the Manhattan Center. His first album, Love Me, Love Me Not: The Music of Joey Contreras is available on iTunes and CDBaby.com.
