Singer Bebe Buell will headline live at Hiro Ballroom in Manhattan on Wednesday, January 13th 2010, to launch her new full-length CD Sugar. Buell will perform every song on the new disc and will also be debuting her brand new Bebe Buell - Oscar Wilde rock-n-roll couture T-shirt, as part of the immensely popular Worn Free vintage rock
t-shirt line.

Buell released her hugely successful latest single Air Kisses, from the new CD, this past summer and will now premiere the Air Kisses for the Masses anime video, produced/created by The Nerdy Duo, at the Hiro Ballroom event.

Sugar marks the charismatic Bebe Buell's first new record in ten years, being a deeply autobiographical, cinematic rock 'n roll affair...wide in scope and very emotional. The new disc offers an amazing range of original material including Black Angel, a beautifully heartbreaking tribute to her late friend, Joey Ramone, along with a smoldering rendition of Johnny Thunders' Untouchable(a song he always wanted Bebe to cover). Says The Aquarian Weekly in their recent review of Sugar......." This CD is the real deal by a genuine prodigy of punk rock pioneers. Sugar takes chances and stands out bold in an industry that sorely needs to return to the rock and roll direction that I've heard here today. In a word: Classic !"

Buell paired up with Worn Free vintage rock t-shirts when she was approached by founder Steve Coe, who always loved the now famous photo of Buell, taken back in 1979, wearing her favorite t-shirt, with a photo of Oscar Wilde and his quote " I can resist anything except temptation " !

Worn Free, launched in 2005, is highly acclaimed for its fully licensed, couture-quality reproductions of T-shirts worn by rock stars & pop icons like John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Debbie Harry, Rod Stewart, Frank Zappa, Joan Jett, Iggy Pop, Janis Joplin, Gram Parsons and many others in classic photos. Each shirt is accompanied by a hangtag/sticker in the style of a backstage pass that bears a photo of the design's original wearer and information about its provenance.

Since its genesis, Worn Free has emerged as one of the world's most sought-after T-shirt lines, building a cult following of celebrities, musicians, tastemakers and die-hard rock fans. Celebrities such as Robert Downey, Jr., Katherine Heigl, Mischa Barton, Naomi Campbell, Jennifer Aniston and many others have appeared in the entertainment press adorned in these high-quality shirts, while Adrian Grenier modeled virtually an entire wardrobe of Worn Free designs on HBO's lauded series Entourage.

Worn Free Founder Steve Coe and company President Greg Casey explained " Worn Free is very excited about adding Bebe Buell to our vintage rock T-shirts line, and we're especially thrilled to introduce the Bebe Buell - Oscar Wilde shirt featuring the famous Wilde quote " I can resist anything except temptation " The photo of Bebe is stunning and it couldn't be a more fitting t- shirt for her to be wearing at that time !"

The new shirts will hit stores in April 2010 but will be available exclusively at Bebe Buell's Hiro Ballroom show on Wednesday, January 13th and at www.wornfree.com after that event.

Don't miss Bebe Buell's rare live-performance to debut her new CD Sugar and the new Worn FreeBebe Buell - Oscar Wilde t-shirt, with very special guests Goon Squad, at Hiro Ballroom at the Maritime Hotel (West 16th Street & 9th Ave. NY, NY 10019) on Wednesday, January 13th from 8pm on.
