Bay Street's new Afterschool Classes for Kids return the week of February 22nd with classes to suit any child's needs. From improvisation to musical theater, from multi-media production to songwriting, Bay Street's Afterschool Classes run the gamut of the performing arts and are sure to please even the pickiest of students!
"These exciting new classes are back by popular demand", says Debra Barsha, Bay Street's Education Director. "From Bradley True's fun-filled acting class, to the unique melding of music and computer technology by Robbie and Steve and finally to the power-packed rock experience with Jam with Jim!, these classes promise to be an experience your child won't forget!"
Bay Streets' KIDS AFTERSCHOOL CLASSES start the week of February 22nd. This 5-week session will run through March 25 and is being offered for children ages 8 to 12. Each class will be held from 4pm - 5:30pm in the afternoon and cost is $125 per child. Call 631-725-0818 x110 to reserve your spot today. Classes being offered include: MONDAYS: C.A.S.T. (Cool Actors Stay True)Along with classes, Bay Street's KIDS SCHOOL VACATION THEATRE CAMP will return again for the spring break in March from March 29 - April 2, 9am - 3pm daily. Broadway's own Debra Barsha is back as instructor. Theatre Camp is recommended for children ages 8 to 12 years old. The cost for one-week is $350 per child. Students are required to bring a bag lunch and have a willingness to learn. Bay Street will provide the rest, including snacks. Class size is limited and fills up quickly.
