Well the 2015 Oscars have come and gone. The night was packed with great moments--so many that the show ran 30 minutes late! Birdman took home the top prize, Best Picture, and Eddie Redmayne and Julianne Moore won Best Actor/Actress! Read more for the full 2015 Oscars Recap!

To start, we have to talk about that opening number! Written by Robert and Kristen Lopez, the song was full of moments that gave me goosebumps. But of course, it wouldn't be an opening number without many jokes, like a jaded Cumberbatch drinking from a flask, and Neil hoping Bruce Dern pulls a Kanye. Anna Kendrick also came out dressed as her character, Cinderella, from Into the Woods to sing with NPH. Jack Black even cut in as the "villain" of the number, pointing out all of Hollywood's flaws. All in all, it was an opening number to remember.

The first Oscar of the night, for Best Supporting Actor, goes to J.K. Simmons for Whiplash. Simmons gave a great acceptance speech, where he tells everyone to call their parents if they are lucky enough to still have parents. So sweet.

-Harris had his Oscar predictions sealed in a box until the end of the show, to prove he is great at predicting the winners. He chooses Octavia Spencer to watch his box until the end of the show, to make sure no one tampers with it. of course. Then, Liam Neeson is out to present the first nominees for Best Picture, The Grand Budapest Hotel and American Sniper.

Dakota Johnson introduces Maroon 5 and Adam Levine's performance of "Lost Stars" the song from Begin Again that is nominated for Best Original Song. Afterward, Jennifer Lopez and Chris Pine present the award for Achievement in Costume Design. The winner was Milena Canonero for The Grand Budapest Hotel.

NPH introduced Reese Witherson saying she is "So lovely you can eat her up with her spoon." Oh man, what a pun. She is presenting the award for Achievement in Makeup and Hairstyling. The award went to Frances Hannon and Mark Coulier for The Grand Budapest Hotel. Channing Tatum then announces the winners for the 3rd Annual Team Oscar.

Nicole Kidman and Chiwetel Ejiofor, "playing each other," present the award for Best Foreign Language Film. The award goes to Ida, a film from Poland. Shirley Maclaine comes on stage presents three other Best Picture Nominees, Boyhood, The Theory of Everything, and Birdman.

NPH talks to some of the "seat fillers," the people who fill the award winners seats. He speaks to a few, before ending with "seat filler" Steve Carrell.

Tegan and Sara and The Lonely Island perform Everything is Awesome, the Oscar nominated song from The Lego Movie, and no surprises, it was epic and amazing. It featured cameos from Questlove and Will Arnet, as Batman. This was such a fun performance to watch!

9 Kerry Washington and Jason Bateman present the nominees for Best Live Action Short Film. The Oscar went to The Phone Call accepted by Mat Kirkby and James Lucas.Washington and Bateman also announce the winner of Best Documentary Short Subject: Crisis Hotline: Veterans Press 1 and Ellen Goosenberg Kent and Dana Perry. Dana Perry makes a sweet tribute to her son who they lost to suicide, and makes a great point that we need to talk about suicide, out loud. RIP.

Viola Davis introduces the video from the Governors Awards. The honorees where Harry Belafonte, Jean-Claude Carrière, Hayao Miyazaki, and Maureen O'Hara. Following that video, NPH talks to the British nominees to prove everything sounds better in a British accent. David Oyelowo was tricked into reading an insult about the not so great Annie remake.

Tim McGraw takes the stage to perform "I'm Not Gonna Miss You," the Best Song nominee from Glen Campbell...I'll Be Me.

After the commercial break, the camera goes backstage, where we find NPH unable to get into his dressingroom to change. He ends up in nothing but his underwear as he walks through to the stage, passing Miles Teller playing the drums. NPH goes on stage in nothing but his undies to introduce the next presenters: Margot Robbie and Miles Teller. They are presenting the honorees for the Scientific and Technical Awards.

Sienna Miller and Chris Evans present the award for Sound Mixing and Sound Editing. The Oscar for Sound Mixing goes to Craig Mann, Ben Wilkins and Thomas Curley for Whiplash. The award for Sound Editing goes to Alan Robert Murray and Bub Asman for American Sniper.

Winner of this year's "Bluest Tux and Whitest Shoes," according to NPH, Jared Leto presents the award for Best Supporting Actress, which is four women "and Meryl Streep accoring to California State Law." (Good one, Leto). The winner is Patricia Arquette for Boyhood. Poor Ellar Coltrane got snubbed by Arquette when she went up to accept her Oscar. He tried to congratulate her and she didn't notice. Awkward. Patricia Arquette then gave an amazing acceptance speech where she urges for equal rights for all.

Josh Hutcherson introduces Rita Ora who is performing Best Song nominee "Grateful" from Beyond the Lights.

Ansel Elgort and Chloe Grace Mortez present the nominees for Achievement in Visual Effects. The Oscar went to Paul Franklin, Andrew Lockley, Ian Hunter and Scott Fisher for Interstellar. Kevin Hart and Anna Kendrick present the Oscar for Best Animated Short. The winner is Feast and Patrick Osborne and Kristina Reed.

Zoe Saldana and Dwanye Johnson present the Oscar for Animated Feature Film, which goes to Big Hero 6. (Surprise win for me! I totally thought it would be How to Train Your Dragon 2). Chris Pratt (swoon) and Felicity Jones present the Oscar for Best Production Design, and the winners were Adam Stockhausen (Production Design); Anna Pinnock (Set Decoration) for The Grand Budapest Hotel. Idris Elba and Jessica Chastain present the Oscar for Achievement in Cinematography. The Oscar goes to Emmanuel Lubezki for Birdman.

Meryl Streep introduced the In Memoriam segment of The Oscars. RIP to all of those we have lost in the past year. You are missed. Jennifer Hudson sings in honor of those we've lost in the past year. It was such a beautiful performance.

Naomi Watts and Benedict Cumberbatch present the Oscar for Achievement in Film Editing, which went to Tom Cross for Whiplash. Afterward, Terrence Howard introduces the last three nominees for Best Picture: Whiplash, The Imitation Game, and Selma. Jennifer Aniston and David Oyelowo present the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature. The Oscar goes to CitizenFour and Laura Poitras, Mathilde Bonnefoy and Dirk Wilutzky.

Oh no, Octavia Spencer left her seat and her job of guarding Neil's box! Well, at least she is presenting. She introduces John Legend and Common, who are performing Glory, the Oscar Nominated Song from Selma. That performance was spectacular, and that shot of David Oyelowo crying in the crowd filled me with so many emotions. Wow.

"Benedict Cumberbatch: The sound you get when John Travolta tries to pronounce Ben Afflack." (KILLED IT, NPH). Harris then introduces Idina Menzel who comes out and purposefully mispronounces Travolta's name, who joins her on stage to present the nominees for Best Original Song. The Oscar goes to Glory from Selma.

Scarlett Johansson introduces Lady Gaga, who honors The Sound of Music with a performance. Wow, Lady Gaga's performance just killed. She has such a beautiful voice, and hearing her sing The Sound of Music songs was just perfection. Gaga haters should be silenced after this performance. The queen, Julie Andrews, came out to hug Gaga, and I was SO EMOTIONAL. Andrews presents the Oscar for Best Original Score, which goes to Alexandre Desplat for The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Eddie Murphy presents the award for Best Original Screenplay. The Oscar goes to Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Nicolás Giacobone, Alexander Dinelaris, Jr. & Armando Bo for Birdman. (I am sad Wes didn't win). Oprah presents the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay. The Oscar goes to Graham Moore for The Imitation Game. I loved Moore's inspiring words: "Stay weird, stay different" and don't give up!

The big four awards end the night! Ben Afflack presents the nominees for Best Directing. The Oscar goes to Alejandro G. Iñárritu for Birdman. Cate Blanchett announces nominees for Best Actor. The Oscar goes to Eddie Redmayne for The Theory of Everything! Matthew McConaughey presents the award for Best Actress. The Oscar goes to Julianne Moore for Still Alice! Sean Penn announces the Oscar for Best Picture, which goes to BIRDMAN!

Phew, what a long night! It was a great show filled with many touching moments! Can't forget all of the great puns NPH made tonight, and that iconic opening number! I hope you enjoyed my recap! Until next time!
