Mark Cortale, Producing Artistic Director of The Art House in Provincetown, MA, has announced that 6-time Tony winner Audra McDonald will return to Provincetown on August 21 for one show only, joined by husband and fellow-Broadway star Will Swenson. Matthew Morrison star of "Glee" and "Finding Neverland" is also slated to join pianist & host Seth Rudetsky for the Broadway @ Town Hall series on August 7th. The Art House's hotly anticipated 2016 summer season will also include artists like Vanessa Williams, Kristin Chenoweth, Patti LuPone, Cheyenne Jackson, the Indigo Girls, Megan Hilty, Judy Kuhn, Gavin Creel and Steve Grand, among others. This summer, the venue's marquee Broadway concert series will again encompass performances at both The Art House as well as Provincetown's Town Hall. Kicking off the season on Memorial Day Weekend will be a debut concert by Grammy-winning platinum selling recording stars, the Indigo Girls, for one show only at Town Hall on Sunday, May 29 at 8:00 PM. Meanwhile that weekend at the Art House, Indie Rock star Melissa Ferrick takes up residence for her sixth consecutive season opener with three shows on May 28 at 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM and May 29 at 6:00 PM. Also appearing over the holiday weekend, The New Yorker Magazine's celebrated writer Michael Schulman will read from his new book "Her Again: Becoming Meryl Streep," in a free event on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 8PM.

The summer's star-studded lineup continues to roll into town in June, beginning with Varla Jean Merman & Ryan Landry's debut of "Brown is the New Pink," a hilarious women's prison parody of Orange is the New Black, running June 24 to September 3, and Featuring the "Cutabitch Prison Girls" aka Penny Champagne, Liza Lott, Qya Marie and Jessica Barstis. Varla Jean, Provincetown's reigning Queen of Commercial Street, debuts her brand new solo show "A Little White Music" from June 22 through September 3, with Gerald Goode at the piano. Next up, Well-Strung, the singing string quartet return for a fifth consecutive summer to debut their all new show directed by Jeffery Roberson, running from June 29 through September 10.

Also on June 30, Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce and star of E! Network's "I Am Cait" will appear as the special guest speaker at "A Benefit for Camp Lightbulb" at Provincetown's Town Hall.

Fourth of July weekend brings Cheyenne Jackson, star of TV's "American Horror Story" "30 Rock" and Broadway's "Finian's Rainbow," "Xanadu," "All Shook Up," and "Thoroughly Modern Millie" at Town Hall on July 3 at 8:30 PM for one show only. Bookending him that weekend at The Art House is Tori Scott, hailed as one of Time Out New York's Top 10 Cabaret Artists, on July 5 at 7:00 PM with Jesse Kissel at the piano. Steve Grand, who burst onto the scene with his video An All American Boy and his #3 Billboard Independent Album, makes his long-awaited Art House debut on July 6, 7, and 8 at 7:30 PM. RuPaul Drag Race stars return by popular demand this summer, including Drag Race winner Jinkx Monsoon returning with cohort Major Scales in an all-new show from July 9 through September 17, and Drag Race star Courtney Act brings "The Girl From Oz" to The Art House July 12 - August 25 with John Thomas at the piano.

Vanessa Williams, the Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award nominated superstar, known as Wilhelmina Slater on "Ugly Betty, will kick-off Bear Week at Town Hall with Seth Rudetsky at piano on July 11 at 8:30 PM for one show only. Megan Hilty, the Tony Nominated breakout star of NBC's "Smash" and on Broadway in "Wicked" and "9 to 5: The Musical" makes her anticipated return to Broadway @ the Art House on July 17, 18, 19 at 7:00 PM. Emmy-winning comedian Judy Gold returns to take up residence on the Art House stage from July 14 through September 3. Judy Kuhn, Tony-nominated star of "Fun Home" and Broadway's original "Les Miz", and the voice of Disney's "Pocahontas" returns to Ptown on July 29 and 30. Cabaret legend and P-town favorite Marilyn Maye returns for her fifth season with Billy Stritch at the piano, on August 3 - 6 at 7:00 PM. Tony, Emmy & Golden Globe nominated Matthew Morrison, star of "Glee" and "Finding Neverland" appears at Town Hall on August 7. Unitard, known as New York City's most cutting, fearless, raunchy comedy trio, have been seen and heard on NPR, CNN, Logo, Bravo, and more. Starring Nora Burns, David Ilku & Mike Albo they have been called "a satirical triumph" by the Boston Globe and will make their Art House debut on August 9 for one show only.

Late summer heats up further with three leading ladies at Town Hall. Drag Race winner Bianca Del Rio will debut her "Not Today Satan" for P-town audiences on August 15 at 8:30 PM. Kristin Chenoweth - star of Broadway's original "Wicked" as Glinda and Tony-winner for "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown," and star of TV's "Glee" and Emmy-winner for "Pushing Daisies," with Mary-Mitchell Campbell at the piano August 16 for two shows only, at 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM. Audra McDonald - the historic 6-time Tony-winner and star of Broadway's "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill," "Porgy and Bess," "Ragtime," "Master Class" and TV's "Private Practice" with special guest Will Swenson - returns to Ptown for one show only on August 21 with Seth Rudetsky as pianist/host. Gavin Creel, Olivier Award Winning star of She Loves Me, The Book of Mormon returns to the Art House lineup on August 26 & 27 @ 7PM also with Rudetsky as pianist & host. Last but certainly not least, Patti LuPone two-time Tony Award winner for Gypsy, and as the original Evita on Broadway, makes her first return to P-town in three years this Labor Day weekend on September 4 at 6:30 PM in her show "Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda" with music director Joseph Thalken at the piano.
