Ashley Brown, Stephanie Umoh, Jim Stanek & More Join NAMT SHOW OFF! Benefit Concert Cast

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) announced today that Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins), Stephanie Umoh (Ragtime), Jim Stanek (Freud's Last Session) and Host Edward Hibbert as The Drowsy Chaperone's "Man in Chair" join Wicked composer/lyricist Stephen Schwartz, Tony Award nominee Christopher Sieber (Shrek the Musical), Telly Leung (TV's "Glee"), Ciara Renée (Big Fish) and Sarah Stiles (Into the Woods) in SHOW OFF!, a benefit concert celebrating 25 years of NAMT's Annual Festival of New Musicals on Sunday, October 20 at 7pm at New York University's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place at Washington Square).

Broadway favorite Edward Hibbert (Curtains/The Drowsy Chaperone) will host the event as "Man in Chair" from The Drowsy Chaperone. Hibbert played "Underling" in the original Tony Award-winning production and replaces the previously announced David Garrison due to scheduling conflicts.

Special guests include Danish musical theatre stars Bjørg Gamst and Maria Skuladottir.

Alison Cimmet, Constantine Germanacos, Sydney James Harcourt, Kelly McCormick, Sean Allan Krill and Leah Horowitz will also be featured.

The evening will feature a special version of "Show Off" from The Drowsy Chaperone, with new lyrics by Tony Award winner Lisa Lambert written specially for this event.

Previously announced talent for the concert include Beth Leavel, Lillias White, Sierra Boggess, Kerry Butler, Patti Murin, Dee Hoty, Susan Egan and Grammy winner Amanda McBroom.

The benefit concert is a special conclusion to this year's Annual Festival of New Musicals which takes place October 17-18 at New World Stages. Tickets to the concert and reception are available now at www.namt.org/showoff.

Featuring songs from past Festival shows from throughout the 25 years, including The Drowsy Chaperone, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Honk!, Children of Eden, Ordinary Days, and many more. The concert is directed by Tony winner David Zippel, with continuity by Brian Hargrove, music direction by Brad Haak and musical staging by Lorin Latarro. Ryan Fielding Garrett is assistant music director. Branden Huldeen (NAMT's New Works Director) is the Creative Producer.
