In a rare New York solo cabaret appearance, Andrea McArdle will take to the stage at Joe's Pub on Sunday night, March 13th at 9:30pm at Joe's Pub. Singing songs both old and new including hits from her career this will certainly be a can't miss concert event. Presented by BroadwayWorld.com's Front & Center Concert Series and with proceeds going to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, "NYC" will be a night to remember.

Directed by Richard Jay-Alexander, and with musical direction by Ben Toth.

Andrea is best known as the original Annie (both on Broadway and in London), a performance which earned her a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical, in addition to a Theatre World and Outer Critics Circle Award. She recently starred as "Mama Rose" in Gypsy for the Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theatre. She just returned from Japan where she reprised the role of "Sally Bowles" in Cabaret. The first time she played "Sally" in Japan was as a limited engagement after she starred in the U.S. National Tour. Before Cabaret she was playing another type of girl altogether, becoming Broadway's longest running "Belle" in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. She was featured as "The Star to Be" in the new Emmy Award-winning TV movie version of Annie, on ABC TV. She has also starred on Broadway in Les Misérables, Starlight Express, and State Fair.

She starred as young Judy Garland in the TV musical bio film Rainbow (1978), and made a special appearance in Liberace's nightclub act. Andrea toured with the great Bob Hope and has had the pleasure of singing for every U.S. President from Ford to Clinton.
